An Asset Management System (AMS) supports asset management with systematic coordination of these connections and supports assurance, individual and organizational learning and continual improvement. It provides a systematic approach to perform asset management effectively and derive the value needed from assets to achieve organizational objectives.

An AMS is used to realize organizational benefits through well-coordinated strategies and plans based on observed performance and (potential) changes in the organization’s environment.

Course Objective

Delegates will be able to understand the requirements of an Asset Management System (AMS) as per the ISO 55001:2024 Asset Management Systems (AMS) and to provide learners with both an overview and basic knowledge of the implementation requirements of ISO 55001:2024.  A person completing this module will be able to establish, implement, measure and monitor the Asset Management System.

The Asset Management System (AMS) implementation training course consists of learning modules that provides the learner with outcomes for implementation.
